The Book of Hopes

Stephen Fry is an English actor, screenwriter, author, playwright, journalist, poet, comedian, television presenter, film director and all round national treasure. As well as his extensive work in television, Fry has contributed columns and articles for newspapers and magazines, appears frequently on radio, reads for voice-overs and audiobooks (including Harry Potter and Paddington) and has written four novels and three volumes of autobiography, Moab Is My Washpot, The Fry Chronicles and his latest, More Fool Me. The most recently published works are Mythos, Heroes and Troy, constituting a trilogy retelling the Greeks myths from the Creation to the aftermath of the Trojan War. Ben Bailey Smith began his career as a rapper known as Doc Brown before diversifying and moving into mainstream TV and film acting, stand-up comedy, screen writing and children's books. He has a host of notable television performances under his belt including roles in Law & Order and Miranda as well as the British children's show 4 O'Clock Club. Ben's debut middle-grade novel, Something I Said, publishes in June 2021 (Bloomsbury) and he is also the narrator for the audiobook editions of Benjamin Zephaniah's Face and Refugee Boy, both available now. Helena Bonham Carter is a two-time Academy Award® nominee, with film, television and stage accolades spanning over three decades including The Wings of the Dove, The Kings Speech, Alice in Wonderland, Fight Club and Harry Potter – to name but a few. Helena recently portrayed Princess Margaret in the third series of the highly successful Netflix Original series, The Crown, and starred in Enola Holmes, as Mrs Holmes.
