Danger: Truth at Work

Descripción
Danger: Truth at Work is the first in a series titled Authentic Living and goes to the heart of our most fundamental human issues. Why can't we just live happily and be content? While we seem to have all the knowledge we need to solve our problems, we haven't. In this timely audio series, Osho explains that religious conditioning has held us back. "The religious prophets, the political leaders, the moral lawgivers - you have respected them, not even suspecting that they are the cause of your misery." Osho calls this process of spiritual renewal a "dry cleaning of the mind". The process allows us to go beyond religious and social conditioning and develop what Osho calls a real reverence for life, going beyond divisions. The talks that are published in this Authentic Living series were given by Osho in the United States as the beginning of a new phase of his work. Each chapter covers a different aspect of this conditioning and, in gentle but persuasive language, shows how to transcend it. Individual chapters include "The Nuclear Family: The Imminent Meltdown"; "Pseudo-Religion: The Stick-on Soul"; "They Say Believe, I Say Explore"; "Ecstasy Is Now: Why Wait?"; and others. - Chapter 1 Pseudo-religion — the stick-on soul - Chapter 2 I call it reverence for life - Chapter 3 Politics and the will-to-power - Chapter 4 Danger — Truth at Work - Chapter 5 Ecstasy is now — why wait? - Chapter 6 Transformation, not renunciation - Chapter 7 Nature is all there is - Chapter 8 God is not a solution but a problem - Chapter 9 I teach a religionless religion - Chapter 10 God — the nobody everybody knows - Chapter 11 Truth — not a dogma but a dance - Chapter 12 Faith is the suicide of intelligence - Chapter 13 Ecstasy is knowing that nobody is holding your hand - Chapter 14 Society crowds you out; meditation outs your crowd - Chapter 15 They say believe; I say exploreOther titles in the Authentic Living series  :   -  Magic of Self Respect  -  Born with a Question Mark in Your Heart  -  The Beauty of the Human Soul This audiobook is a selection of talks (Chapters 1-15) from an original series previously published as From Ignorance to Innocence by Osho, given to a live audience.  © ℗ 1984,2025 OSHO International Foundation

Sobre el autor:
Osho, known for his revolutionary contribution to the science of inner transformation, continues to inspire millions of people worldwide in their search to define a new approach to individual spirituality that is self-directed and responsive to the everyday challenges of contemporary life. The Sunday Times of London named him one of the '1,000 Makers of the Twentieth Century,' and novelist Tom Robbins called him 'the most dangerous man since Jesus Christ.' For more information about Osho and his work, please visit  www.OSHO.com  Osho's teachings defy categorization, covering everything from the individual quest for meaning to the most urgent social and political issues facing individuals and society today. His unique "Osho Active Meditations" are designed to first release the accumulated stresses of body and mind, so that it is easier to experience the thought-free and relaxed state of meditation. (Meditation -The First and Last Freedom, by Osho) About his own work Osho has said that he is helping to create the conditions for the birth of a new kind of human being. He has often characterized this new human being as "Zorba the Buddha" -- capable both of enjoying the earthy pleasures of a Zorba the Greek and the silent serenity of a Gautam Buddha. Running like a thread through all aspects of Osho's work is a vision that encompasses both the timeless wisdom of the East and the highest potential of Western science and technology.  Biographical: Autobiography of a Spiritually Incorrect Mystic, ST.
